How the news about Doflamingo didn't quit the Warlords was fake, the power of Fujitora (dropping meteorite?!), new adimiral Ryokugyu, Don Chin Jao's past, Little people's plan, Usoland, Rebecca and the Thunder Soldier…a lot of things went on and the situation is getting intense! I can't wait to read the next volume!

Even though this is just the first volume of the Dressrosa Ark Im already enjoying it a lot more than I did the previous ark. There are a lot of new characters introduced in this volume, new outfits for the strawhats and the continued alliance with Law as well as working with Kin’emon.
This volume is mainly the set up for the Dressrosa Ark showing the conflicts and battles that await the stawhats through future volumes. Overall Im loving it and have big expectations for this Ark.
Luffy enters the dressrosa tournament in order to win his brother's devil fruit. With the return of a tightly coiled rival and the birth of a few new superpowers, this opening to the dressrosa arc promises to meet all our expectations.

If this is your first time hearing of One Piece stop right now and get volume 1. Eiichiro Oda does a masterful job telling this story and it is imperative that nothing be skipped as he always ties everything together.
If you're already a fan I don't have to tell you this you know how good this story is and this is an awesome chapter. Doflamingo has been my favorite non-strawhat character since his debut and I love that we're finally having an arc centered around him.
Overall, the arc wrapped up very nicely. With a satisfying conclusion to Punk Hazard, threads are hidden in the background that lay in wait for the future to come.
Transitioning from one arc to the next, I thought it was very solid though some characters could have used more screen time.
